Tour Highlights

• Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania-Drive to Arusha
• Upon arrival, you will be met timeously at Kilimanjaro Airport by our transfer specialist who will welcome you and then transfer you the to your Hotel in Arusha. That evening your guide will meet with you for a briefing on the next day’s tour.
• Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National park
• After an early breakfast, you will proceed to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. The Park is rich with ancient giant baobab trees, also known as the ‘’Tree of life’’, which covers most of the landscape of the park, The Tarangire National park has the largest concentration of elephant which you can see bathing in the Tarangire river, as well as
• giraffes, monkey, impala and many birds. It is also one of the most beautiful places to see lion & leopard. In the late afternoon, you will be driven to your Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
• Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
• After breakfast, we begin our drive to the Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro with a few stops at interesting scenic points for you to take pictures and get the full experience of your Tanzania Exploration tour. The drive from the Lodge to Serengeti National Park is approximately 3 hours and we will make provision for your lunch during the journey by providing you with enjoyable lunch boxes to allow for us arriving timeously for afternoon animal sightings in the Serengeti. After a full day of game sighting, you will be driven to your luxury camp for dinner and overnight stay.
• Day 4: Full day in Serengeti
• After early breakfast, we drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River and is excellent for viewing large herds of African Elephants, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and Hippopotamus. The Visitor Centre close to the Serengeti, is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This wonderfully designed centre offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop. Your Safari game drive through the central Serengeti, will allow you to view animals and capture the wilderness in all its magnificence and glory as you drive through the vast plains of the Serengeti. You will experience animals such a Lion, Elephant, Zebra, Giraffe, Impala, Leopard, Cheetah and many others in action whilst hunting and killing prey in the wilderness. After your game drive and adventure-filled day you will be driven back to your luxury tented camp for evening sundowners and to watch the sun setting over the African Savannah, followed by an exquisite dinner. Before retiring for the night, you can sit around the campfire as the nights’ sky begin to fill with stars aplenty.
• Day 5: Full game drive in Serengeti
• After breakfast you can chose to Enjoy a Full day Serengeti game drive or spend some leisurely time relaxing at your Camp unwinding before you commence with an afternoon
• game drive. The itinerary is flexible. After breakfast or lunch spend a fun filled day or afternoon animal sighting as you experience the wild up-close.
• Day 6: Serengeti Plains – Ngorongoro
• After breakfast, we depart to the World Heritage site - Ngorongoro Crater Conservation area. The Conservation Area is in northern Tanzania and it is home to the large and sweeping, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater. It is also home to the “Big 5” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, Rhino). Huge herds of wildebeest and zebra traverse its plains during their annual migration.
• After enjoying a spectacular array of wildlife, you will stop for lunch at the Ngorongoro picnic site. After lunch you will continue game viewing and thereafter travel back to your beautiful Lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
• Day 7: Karatu - Manyara National Park
• We drive into the Lake Manyara National Park for an early game drive. This national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants and Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lion, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. After your Game Drive and hot lunch in Manyara National Park, thereafter you will start your Maasai Village tour – your Tanzania Exploration Adventure will not be the same without experiencing the enchanting Maasai people. This delightful cultural excursion will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in their culture and their traditional attire. What a wonderful way to end your Safari tour than with traditional Maasai song and dance. You will thereafter be driven back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.
• Day 8: Arusha - Kilimanjaro viewpoint & Chemka Hot springs
• After a scrumptious Breakfast, get ready for a day of fun, fun and more Fun as you travel to Moshi, at Moshi you will have the opportunity to visit the iconic and majestic Mt Kilimanjaro. The Kilimanjaro viewpoint is a sight to behold as the mountain stands at an impressive 5895m above sea level. After taking in the sights, you will then proceed to
• Chemka Hot springs. Hidden deep within a green lush tree, this paradisiac oasis lies amidst a Tanzanian forest. The adventure offers captivating views, crystal-clean water and dense vegetation all around. Chemka Hot Springs is the best place to visit after a Kilimanjaro visit or a safari adventure. It is a very relaxing full day experience and the Hot Springs has a beautiful turquoise colour, almost unreal. The lagoons are surrounded by banyan trees, with roots that cross over the shore and descent deep towards the bottom of the springs. The Chemka oasis is a unique phenomenon – it is the only place in Tanzania (and most likely in the entire East Africa), where the groundwater actively interacted with geothermal sources, forming a number of small lakes with warm water. Enjoy delicious lunch and the warm alluring waters of the spring, that afternoon you will be driven to your hotel for your overnight stay and romantic candle lit dinner.
• Day 9: Moshi – Materuni Coffee Plantation and Materuni Waterfall
• After a full breakfast, spend a leisurely day at the Materuni Coffee Plantation and Materuni Waterfall. Set on the hills of Kilimanjaro, the Materuni Village and Waterfalls is a great escape. The walk to Materuni Waterfall offers a wonderful glimpse into the nature. The tour starts with a walk to Materuni Waterfall. It is an opportunity to see how local fruit like avocados, mangos, lemons, and bananas grow, as well as learn some of the local history, traditions, village culture and life. When you get to the waterfall, you can refresh yourself in the natural pool or admire its splendour from the water’s edge. This truly is a picturesque sight. Thereafter The tour will continue with a visit to the local village in the coffee plantations. The villagers will demonstrate the process of coffee farming and guide you through the preparation of coffee from a bean to a cup. Sing and dance along with the Chaga people as they are grinding, roasting and boiling the beans. When the coffee is ready, you will be served lunch which will be accompanied by the coffee that you just brewed.
• Day 10: Moshi - Kilimanjaro Airport for Departure
• After a wonderful hearty breakfast, spend a leisurely day resting and reminiscing over your amazing Tanzania Exploration Safari and tours. Enjoy the day at the hotel poolside and after lunch you will prepare for your departure. After this captivating vacation, you will travel to the Airport for your departure, where we shall wish you Bon Voyage and Happy onward travel.
