Highlights

• Day 1 – Arusha – Tarangire National Park
• After a scrumptious breakfast, you will travel to Tarangire National Park. The Park is rich with ancient giant baobab trees, also known as the ‘’Tree of life’’, which cover s most of the landscape of the park. The Park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen gathering by the river. You will also see giraffe, bushbuck and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lion and leopard. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet. Tarangire is the best place to see these gentle giants in their natural habitat – from the adorable calves all the way up to the intimidating bulls. After Lunch and an extensive game drive, we drive to our lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay in Karatu.
• Day 2 - Karatu – Ngorongoro
• After breakfast, we depart for an exciting day to the World Heritage site - Ngorongoro Crater Conservation area. The Conservation Area is in Northern Tanzania, and it is home to the large and sweeping, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater. It is also home to the “Big 5” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, Rhino). Huge herds of wildebeest and zebra traverse its plains during their annual migration.
• After enjoying a spectacular array of wildlife, you will stop for lunch at the Ngorongoro picnic site. After lunch you will continue game viewing and thereafter travel back to your beautiful Lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
• Day 3: Karatu - Manyara National park
• We drive into the Lake Manyara National Park for an early game drive. This national park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants and Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lion, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. After your Game Drive and hot lunch in Manyara National park, thereafter you will start your Maasai Village tour – your Tanzania Exploration Adventure will not be the same without experiencing the enchanting Maasai people. This delightful cultural excursion will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in their culture and their traditional attire. What a wonderful way to end your Serengeti tour than with traditional Maasai song and dance. After this captivating experience, you will travel back to Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha airport for your departure back home, where we shall wish you Bon Voyage and Happy onward travel.
