your understanding as we aim to maintain a comfortable environment for all patrons.

STANDARD PAYMENT POLICYFull payment is required on booking
STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICYCancellation must be made in writing and the conditions of cancellation are as follows:
31 days and more: free cancellation.
30 days and less 100% is forfeited.
No shows: 100% cancellation fees.
No refund will be given for guests who arrive but leave before the completion of their stay
GROUP PAYMENT POLICYGroup Policies for 4 rooms and more reserved.
25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of confirmation.
Full balance payment is required 45 days prior to the reserved arrival date.
GROUP CANCELLATION POLICYCancellation must be made in writing and the conditions of cancellation are as follows:
46 days and more: 25% Non-refundable deposit are retained.
45 days and less 100% is forfeited.
No shows: 100% cancellation fees.
No refund will be given for guests who arrive but leave before the completion of their stay
STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONSAll bank charges are to be covered by the guest, agent, or operator. If a refund is paid by The
Grand Hotel, then the bank charges for the refund will be deducted from the refund payment.
Incorrect quotes or charges to the guest will be covered by the booking agent or operator.
Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 14 days unless an extension has been
requested in writing and has been approved.
This document serves as a binding contract. Upon receipt of this document, you are legally
bound to the terms & conditions stated here within.
The Laws of the Republic of South Africa shall in all respects, govern this contract.
Rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of 15% VAT.
The Grand Hotel reserves the right to amend the quoted tariffs should there be any change in
the percentage rate of VAT or any other levy, tax or impost becoming payable by The Grand
Hotel after the date of booking or in the event of the devaluation of the SA Rand.
Rack Rates provided are a guideline and are not the contracted rates. These are purely for
the purpose of comparison and are subject to change without prior notice.
