Our highlight was the day trip to Sossusvlei with Hosea. It’s fascinating to see how much he knows about the nature and area of Sossusvlei.
In general we really enjoyed our stay at little sossus lodge. It was our first stop in Namibia and we were so happy to get in touch with Africa so fast because of the great view, wild animals and atmosphere at the lodge.
The only thing that could be improved is that the size of the dinner and variability of the breakfast should be extended.
We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay at this exceptional lodge! It was recently renovated. When I see people "complaining" about AC or water pressure I'm not sure they understand that they are in the DESERT (and when I say desert I mean it is in the middle of the desert which makes it so exceptional). People should be thankful that there is such wonderful accommodation in a place like that. For us the AC worked totally fine, as well as the water pressure. Special thanks to Given, our guide, Whitney at reception, and Erasmus, our waiter, who truly made our time unforgettable. Overall, the staff were incredibly attentive. Also, the views from our bungalow were breathtaking, making the entire experience from start to finish wonderful. The road to the lodge is gravel and can be bumpy - Just get a 4x4 and make sure you don't go too slow. Overall: Don’t hesitate to book – I am confident you’ll love your stay just as much as we did!
Amazing position, spectacular sunset, desert all around you. Food and wines are fine, people are super nice. And there is the heating! You can have a warm room ! Really luxury experience for a glamping! WiFi can be improved.

By Noura Ahbeddou - Surprisingly Well Equipped Tents
If you’re looking to escape the rush of daily life and become one with nature, then you have to go to Mawe Tented Camp.
The tents are surprisingly well equipped, beds very comfortable. I can easily say it were the best nights I’ve had in a while. From time to time you hear the lions roar in the middle of the night, or you can wake up to elephants not far from the camp.
We stayed there with our family of 5. The staff is very friendly and helps you out with all of your needs. The menu is very diverse and delicious to say the least. Very satisfied overall.
The upstairs rooms had beautiful views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property had character and allowed for relaxing spaces. We enjoyed the food on offer as well. Well located and a haven for tired bodies. We saw a herd of impalas on the road to the lodge and they remained there for the 3 days we were there.
