By Leoni Pretorius - This Place is an absolute beautiful gem.

As I lay on the hammock net, watching the elephants drink water from the pool not even 5 meters from me, I am grateful for all of it. This place is an absolute, beautiful gem! The rooms are modern, spacious and just absolutely beautiful. The staff are professional, friendly and make you feel like royalty. The food is scrumptious, and expertly prepared. Our game drive guide, Eddie, is very knowledgeable and goes beyond what is expected from him. This is your new home away from home. Everyone should visit Mbazo to experience the real African dream.

By Guus Vlaskamp - Great Time

We had a great time during our two nights at the Black Rhino Game Lodge. The rooms are luxurious and the communal terrace offers great spotting opportunities. Game drives are an absolute pleasure as the morning drive explores the smaller local reserve and the afternoon drive ventures into the greater Pilanesberg conservation. We had the best time with our guide Clifford as he went above and beyond to give us the best experience and provide us with the most memorable sightings, as well as a general great time.

By Preston Hedrick - An Exceptional Stay

We had an exceptional stay at Ivory Tree Lodge. We were initially hesitant to go to Pilanesberg rather than Kruger and wondered if this safari would not be as nice as those in Kruger given it was 1/3rd the price. We were wrong! The safari and park were incredible and the lodge was fantastic. It is a great value and we will likely return one day! The rooms are spacious and nice. The lodge has a safari atmosphere to it, which we liked. There are tons of animals in the park. I had previously done a safari in Botswana and we saw way more animals here. Lunch and dinner are both 3 course meals. Lunch is definitely the specialty / best meal there. Food is all included and drinks, including water, cost extra. The benefit of this is that they always make sure you have a drink in your hand by the pool if you want one. The main downside to the lodge is that the vehicles fit 10 passengers (3 rows of 3 and 1 person next to the driver). The problem is that it’s common to not be able to sit with your party in the car. People were waiting 45 minutes before the safari to get in the vehicle so they could sit with their party vs being scattered in the vehicle. This problem was likely pronounced because we were here over New Years (peak season. The other downside is that some guides are like drivers and you have to spot the animals, others are good at finding animals and others are good at teaching you things about the animals. Our guide was more of just a driver and when we were next to other vehicles we could hear them teaching the passengers about the animals they were seeing. We were a bit jealous. When you sum it all up, it’s exceptional value for the money. Of course the more expensive safaris are better, but I doubt it’s worth the extra cost. We are beyond happy with our decision to stay here!

By Laila Lacey - Nice Experience

We stayed at this camp a week or so ago when heading on the way to Moremi. It was a nice experience and certainly a lovely drive to get to the place. Our camp-spot did not have the best view. We were facing the greenhouse and sheds but nevertheless it was a cozy place We loved the walk to the main lodge (it was through the bush and very picturesque). And the main lodge faces the river and has lovely views. The dinner was good and the breakfast was nice too. The pancakes were the best. The ablution blocks were lovely with the same theme throughout and very clean. The only thing - our electricity supply did not work at the camp spot at all and since it was a dull day with no much solar coming in , our fridge was going low Next morning before leaving we spoke to one of the members of staff and he helped to charge it a little bit and we were grateful. Definitely a nice place to stop by and enjoy the vibe.

By paulaolivier2025 - One of the Highlights of my visit

Le Mirage was one of the highlights of my visit to the southern part of Namibia. The detail and style of the establishment was awesome. The friendly and helpful staff gives you a sense of feeling home and relaxed. The wild animals close to the restaurant captured me for hours. I will visit Le Mirage over and over and over again!!!!!
