Firstly, transcendent Views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Shumata Camp is of the language of the Maasai. Secondly, it reveals the essence of our camp – an elevation.

Basically, located in the Enduimet Wildlife Management Aread, both Kilimanjaro correspondingly the Amboseli ecosystem are in view of Shumata Camp. Emphatically, we have carefully created a frame to experience their remarkable rawness in comfort albeit unique luxury.

Evidently, the Maasai welcome guests with the words, “Sopai”: albeit, we hope to share these same words with you when you come to Shu’mata Camp.

5.0 "By Patrick - Amazing View"

Remote comfortable camp within sight of Kilimanjaro. The rooms are generously equipped and have a separate large bathroom with an open shower - the view is amazing! - and toilet. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The Masai accompany you to your room/house tent at night. The breakfast and dinner are perfect and tasty. Of course there are also cold drinks on site. The perfect introduction to the safari, so to speak. The view while having sundowners on the hill is spectacular. At night you can hear all kinds of wild animals here. One point to everyone who will follow me here: please, please be friendly and appropriately polite. A “please, thank you, good morning, good day and good night” is considered polite and respectful in all languages. The local people do a really good job and deserve my/your appreciation by being polite and friendly. Thank you for your understanding!
