Historical Background

Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve, opened in March 1998 on the Ululapa Farm, forms part of the western sector of the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve. The lodge offers over 10,000 hectares of traversing, including access to the perennial Sand River and the Savannah plains. The lodge initially had five luxury suites, with three more added in 2000, along with the library. The treatment sala and gym were built in 2004, completing the lodge’s amenities. Since its inception, Leopard Hills has focused on delivering some of the best game viewing experiences Africa has to offer.

Sustainability and Education

Leopard Hills is committed to offering guests the ultimate safari experience in a sustainable way, ensuring the safety and security of wildlife for future generations. In 2003, Leopard Hills formed a school on the premises, providing education opportunities for the children of managers and staff throughout the Sabi Sand Reserve.

5.0 "By Morgan M - Pure Perfection"

Pure perfection! The attention to detail is beyond. The rooms, the food, the facilities- I could go on and on. What made it most special was the staff. So welcoming and warm. Our ranger, Michael and tracker, Advice were the DREAM TEAM! Seeing the Big 5 and many other animals as closely as we did was unreal. Their knowledge and enthusiasm was contagious. Chef Cobus and his team delivered at every meal and the BOMA dinners were such a highlight. The F&B Team of Carmen, Innocent, Spha, Clarence and others (sorry, I don't have everyone's names) left us wanting nothing. And all the team members behind the scenes in housekeeping and the kitchen were truly the heart of the operation. This was a trip and an experience we will never forget and we will DEFINITELY be back. We miss you all so much!
