Day 5 : Lake Eyasi
After early cup of coffee, with parked breakfast drive to Bushmen ‘Hadzabe’ area. This morning you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer Bushmen). Then after you will have luck to participate with them in local hunting with bow arrow. After hunting it will be a good time for you to enjoy your bush breakfast. Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. The tribe inhabits the lake shores. After breakfast short drive to visit the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe who deals with animal keeping and iron smith.
This will be very good time for you to learn and participate in local activities around their villages include iron meting and grind maize by using stone and many other activities.
Then drive back to the lodge for rest and waiting for hot lunch. Lake Eyasi area is the best for onion growing in East Africa, so after lunch you will head to onion plantations and you can learn how they do farming, and this will be end of your extraordinary life experience. Evening drive to the lodge for dinner and Dinner and Overnight at Bougainville lodge. All meals included
